Supportive Vocational Services

Service includes tasks that do not fit into one of the other referenced service categories and is requested by the VR staff to remove a potential vocational barrier.  Services may include such tasks as: assisting the consumer obtaining employment verification documents, i.e. birth certificate, Social Security card, etc.; assistance in purchasing appropriate work clothing; assistance in purchasing gas cards and/or transportation vouchers; assistance arranging childcare and housing; assistance getting medication; and assisting consumer access other community resources.  Consumer must be present with the JD/JC for service to be billable.
