Customized Employment Discovery Vocational Profile
State of the art Customized Employment Discovery allows an in-depth look at the consumer’s life so there is a foundation for optimal transition focusing on what the consumer can do, their unique needs, strengths, talents, hobbies, preferences, personality, habits, interests, and potential accommodation needs and support needs. This is gathered through a series of interviews, activities, and observations from family members, friends, teachers, and neighbors – anyone who knows the student well. The Discovery process then guides the consumer through a series of hands-on exploration activities. The final written customized blueprint report provides a comprehensive vocational profile of who the consumer is, their complexities, their potential unique job contributions to employers, and specific potential vocational goal areas or ideal conditions to pursue. This service can also culminate in a planning meeting to guide further vocational direction.

Customized Employment Development / Placement

Customized Employment Proposal or Portfolio
To market and develop customized employment, this comprehensive written, visual, or electronic proposal or portfolio will highlight the consumer, specific job duties and contributions they can provide, benefits to the employer, desired employment conditions, and services that may be provided. Once complete, the proposal or portfolio is then used by the job developer to represent the consumer to potential employers.
