Experience with People with Disabilities

In my teen years I visited weekly to the nursing homes and at Children’s Medical Hospital. As an adult I worked with my church in Kettering. My position was support staff in the children’s ministry. I had the opportunity to be around people that have disabilities. I have always had compassion and the desire to help others. Each day we have is a blessing. We never know what we might face. I want to help individuals and treat them how I would want myself and my family members treated.
